Efficacy studies are done using an established murine tumor-model (EMT6, for details see Teicher et al ) and safety studies are done using mouse, rat and pig models.
The following graphs illustrates the efficacy of TL-118 in the murine model in mice treated with TL-118 compared to a control group of mice treated with the vehicle (the solution not containing drugs) of TL-118:

Group A was treated with TL-118, 25 days after inoculation the mean tumor volume in group A was 373.2 mm³. Group B was treated with TL-118 vehicle (the solution not containing drugs), 25 days after inoculation the mean tumor volume in group B was 2506.7 mm³.
